DMKR LS-5803

DMKR LS-5803 is a compact portable FPV monitor for receiving analog video in the 5.8 GHz band, suitable as a preview display for drones, RC airplanes, and as a service tool for quick camera image checks. The image is displayed on a 4.3" IPS display with a resolution of 800 x 480 px and an aspect ratio of 16:9. Brightness 500 cd/m². In direct midday sunlight, we recommend shading the monitor or using a sun hood. With a thickness of 13 mm and a weight of 159 g, the body is small enough to hold in your hand or mount on a transmitter.

Reception is handled by a built-in 40-channel receiver with A, B, E, F and R bands in the range of 5645-5945 MHz. The signal is received by a pair of antennas, which makes the image more stable and less prone to interference. The channel can be found by automatic search with a single button, which locks onto the strongest frequency, or switched manually using the band and channel buttons. The antenna connectors are RP-SMA; adapters are required for antennas with a standard SMA connector. Image latency is under 20 ms.

The monitor supports DVR and records the received image directly to a TF (microSD) card up to 32 GB. Recording runs at 30 frames per second with MJPEG compression into an AVI file; you can choose VGA, D1 or HD resolution, automatic clip splitting after 3, 5 or 10 minutes, and audio on or off. Recorded files can be played back and deleted directly on the monitor. The 3.5 mm AV jack serves either as an input for an external video signal or as a video and audio output to another display or headphones — however, both cannot be used at the same time, and video fed through the AV input cannot be recorded to DVR.

Power is provided by a built-in 3.7 V / 1200 mAh battery. It charges via Micro-USB over a wide range of 5-23 V, so you can use a regular phone charger, a power bank, or even a 2S or 3S LiPo battery directly via a power cable — this practically removes limits on field runtime. The menu is in English and Chinese. Memory card not included; for DVR we recommend a C10 card.
