DJI O3

DJI O3 Air Unit is the third generation of DJI's revolutionary FPV system and takes video capabilities one step further. The DJI O3 will offer up to 1080p resolution while maintaining a 100Hz frame rate, 30ms latency, 50Mbps bitrate and H.265 encoding. A camera with a 1/1.7" sensor and 155° FOV ensures top quality images. Power supply is available in the range of 7.4-26.4V (2-6S). The camera is connected to the video transmitter via a 115mm cable.

The system can automatically select the frequency band for optimal signal use and provides excellent anti-interference performance. The DJI O3 also now supports Canvas mode, where a full Betaflight OSD can be displayed. Compared to the previous version, the O3 is also smaller and lighter. The entire video transfer weighs 39.5g. For transmission, 2 antennas with linear polarization connected via u.FL connector are used. For ease of installation, DJI has included both antennas in one housing.

The biggest step forward is the recording capability. The DJI O3 Air Unit is not only a video transmission, but also a recording camera. The Air Unit has 20GB of internal memory, which can be supplemented with a SD card. You can record at up to 4K/60fps on board the drone. The image can be stabilized by internal DJI RockSteady stabilization or later by Gyroflow. In fact, the DJI O3 records gyroscope data in addition to video. Another great feature is the ability to use ND filters. The DJI O3 camera can be used with a set of ND filters from the DJI Avata. The recording also supports D-Cinelike color profile designed for advanced color grading in post-production.

The DJI O3 Air Unit is compatible with DJI Goggles V2, DJI Goggles 2 and DJI Goggles 3. DJI FPV Remote Controller 2 (with Goggles 2) and FPV Remote Controller 3 (with Goggles 3) can be used. This will be especially appreciated by DJI Avata 1 and 2 owners who can use their existing goggles and transmitter.
