Ceys Ultra Unick Gel with brush 5 g

Ceys Ultra Unick Gel with brush 5 g is a universal instant adhesive with a gel consistency and brush applicator. It creates a strong bond within 10 to 60 seconds depending on the bonded material, reaching maximum strength after 24 hours. It bonds all common materials, including highly porous surfaces; only polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP) and PTFE are unsuitable.

It differs from standard instant adhesives thanks to DUO-COMPONENT technology, which combines the strength of cyanoacrylate with the flexibility of resin. The cured layer has an elongation of over 25 %, so the bond is not brittle and can adapt to stress. This makes it resistant to impacts and vibrations according to the ASTM-D-950 test, which is more important for modelling equipment than tensile strength alone. Shear strength after 24 hours reaches 7 to 16 N/mm² (ISO 4587), depending on the bonded material, and the operating temperature range of the bond is -20 °C to +150 °C. Once cured, the adhesive remains transparent and does not whiten surrounding surfaces; it is also non-irritating and virtually odourless.

The gel consistency with a viscosity of 800 to 1400 mPa·s does not drip or run, making it suitable for vertical surfaces and able to fill small gaps. The brush applicator allows a thin layer to be spread over a surface instead of applying a single drop, which is useful for small parts and joints where a drop of adhesive could overflow. 

Bonding surfaces must be clean, dry and free of grease, rust and dust. Apply a small amount to one of the surfaces and press the parts firmly together for several seconds; more adhesive is needed on uneven surfaces to fill the gaps. We recommend applying less rather than more — excess adhesive worsens the appearance of the joint and can only be removed with a paper towel or spatula immediately after application. Before bonding glass and crystal, we recommend testing on a concealed area. Acetone or an instant adhesive remover can be used to remove dried adhesive. After use, wipe the applicator tip, close the package tightly and store upright in a dry place at +5 °C to +25 °C. The blister pack is made from more than 80 % recycled plastic and is recyclable.

The product is not classified as hazardous within the meaning of Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP). It only bears the supplementary labelling required for cyanoacrylate adhesives; no hazard symbol or signal word is required.
