Ceys Montack LED Tape 10 m x 8 mm

Ceys Montack LED Tape 10 m x 8 mm is a narrow double-sided mounting tape suitable for attaching LED strips, cables and small electronics without drilling or screws. The 8 mm width matches common LED strips and cable trunking, so the tape does not protrude and does not need to be cut lengthwise. It bonds immediately after pressing, so the joint does not need to be fixed or left to cure.

In an FPV and modelling workshop, the narrow format is suitable for attaching LED strips to a frame, routing cable bundles along a table or wall, attaching switches and chargers to a workbench, or marking transport cases.

The tape is made of 100% adhesive with a reinforcing mesh, without a foam carrier. The mesh maintains dimensional stability and transfers long-term loads, while the full 0.73 mm thickness acts as an adhesive layer and compensates for minor substrate irregularities — useful for carbon, 3D-printed parts and aluminium LED profiles. The manufacturer specifies a shear strength of 3 kg per every 5 cm of bond length and an elongation of 100%, so the joint can also withstand slight tension. Temperature resistance of -10 °C to +75 °C and moisture resistance allow indoor and outdoor use. It bonds porous and non-porous materials on smooth and slightly rough surfaces — wood, metal, plastic, glass, concrete, stone, marble, tiles, expanded polystyrene and mirrors. Not suitable for polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP) and PTFE, or for very rough, dusty, crumbly or non-stick surfaces and damaged coatings.

Bonding surfaces must be cleaned with alcohol and dried; the application temperature is +15 °C to +30 °C. Apply the tape to the bonded part without touching the adhesive layer with your fingers, cut it, press it down thoroughly, remove the protective film and press the joint firmly. For vertical parts, we recommend placing several strips across the entire surface and not loading the joint above 6 kg. On painted surfaces, we recommend first testing the bond quality in a hidden area; do not use polishes or nail polish removers for cleaning. The tape can be removed from the joint mechanically by peeling it off. We recommend storing the remaining roll in the original blister pack in a dry, cool place at +15 °C to +30 °C; under these conditions, it retains its properties for 18 months from the date of manufacture.
