Ceys Montack Express Tape - Strips is a set of 10 pre-cut double-sided mounting strips measuring 48x18 mm for attaching objects without drilling or screwing. It is the same Montack mounting tape as the roll version, only in ready-made pieces — no scissors or measuring required, and each strip has an exact size. It holds immediately when pressed, so the joint does not need to be secured or left to cure. It bonds porous and non-porous materials on smooth and slightly rough surfaces — wood, metal, plastic, glass, ceramics, stone, concrete, marble, tiles and mirrors. Not suitable for polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP) and PTFE, or for very rough, fragile, dusty or non-stick surfaces.
The tape carrier is a polyester reinforcing mesh, which gives the strip dimensional stability and allows it to withstand long-term loads. The adhesive layer with a thickness of 0,73 mm compensates for minor surface irregularities, making it suitable for carbon, aluminium and 3D-printed parts. Tensile strength reaches 80 N/25 mm and peel resistance on steel exceeds 60 N/25 mm. The manufacturer states a load capacity of 6 kg per strip on the packaging and does not recommend loading vertical joints above 6 kg. Temperature resistance of -10 °C to +75 °C, along with moisture and weather resistance, allows indoor and outdoor use.
In an FPV and modelling workshop, the strips are useful for quickly mounting small items where a roll is not worthwhile — for example, an RC receiver or video transmitter inside a fuselage, an antenna mount, buzzer, switch, power bank at a charging station, or a charger and cable trunking on a workbench. The 48x18 mm size matches common small modules, so the strip usually does not need further trimming.
Bonding surfaces must be cleaned with alcohol and dried; the application temperature is +15 °C to +30 °C. Apply the strip to the bonded part without touching the adhesive layer with your fingers, press it down thoroughly, remove the protective film and firmly press the part in the desired position. For larger vertical parts, we recommend distributing several strips over the entire surface, and on rougher substrates ensure the largest possible tape-to-surface contact. We do not recommend using polishes or nail polish removers to clean bonding surfaces. On painted surfaces, we recommend first testing the bond quality in an inconspicuous area. The tape can be removed from the joint mechanically by peeling it off. We recommend storing unused strips in the original blister pack in a dry, cool place at +15 °C to +30 °C.
