Caddx Curve Micro 16 HD is a 1S Tinywhoop with Walksnail Ascent Lite+ digital video transmission, suitable for flying at home, in a hall, or in the garden, as well as for freestyle flying between obstacles. Thanks to its ducted propellers and low weight of 48g, it is relatively safe to fly indoors or near people. The drone comes in a white version together with a 6-channel battery charger and carrying case.

It is built around a one-piece frame made of injection-molded plastic, including propeller guards. The frame is lightweight yet sufficiently durable for common impacts during indoor flying. The motor-to-motor diagonal distance is 75mm.

The core of the drone is a Caddx AXON 1S AIO V2.0 AIO board with an STM32G473 processor, ICM42688-P or BMI270 gyro (depending on the production batch), and 16MB blackbox memory. The board runs Betaflight firmware. The drone is equipped with an integrated ELRS receiver operating at 2,4GHz. The board includes 12A ESCs and a 5V/3A BEC. Power is provided by 1102 24000Kv motors paired with HQProp 40mm 1.6x1x3 tri-blade propellers. The motors are connected via plugs, so replacement does not require soldering.

Walksnail Ascent is an HD system designed primarily for beginner and recreational pilots looking for an affordable alternative to analog video transmission. Ascent is a standalone system and is not compatible with the Walksnail Avatar system. The Ascent Lite+ unit transmits video in 1080p or 720p resolution at 60/100/120fps with latency from 35ms. The camera has a 1/2,8" sensor, 16:9 aspect ratio, and 147° FOV. The built-in microphone transmits real-time motor and ambient sound. The video transmitter has no internal memory; video and audio are recorded in Ascent goggles or the Ascent VRX Pro receiver (audio is not recorded in 1080p/100fps and 1080p/120fps modes). The transmission supports Canvas mode for OSD from the flight controller and automatically switches to another channel in case of interference. Transmit power is up to 500mW (FCC), below 14dBm in CE mode.

The drone is compatible with Walksnail Ascent series goggles and Ascent VRX and Ascent VRX Pro receivers. VRX receivers have an HDMI output, so the image can also be displayed in other goggles with HDMI input, on a monitor, or on a TV.

The video transmitter heats up quickly, so we recommend taking off as soon as possible after connecting the battery and not leaving the drone powered on for a long time on the ground.

The package includes a 6-channel charger with A30 connectors, charging up to six batteries simultaneously at up to 1A. One 580mAh battery charges in approximately 30 minutes. The charger is powered via USB-C (5-12V, USB PD, max. 30W) from an adapter, power bank, or car socket. It is intended only for LiHV cells (4,35V) and does not support charging standard LiPo cells (4,20V).

Recommended batteries are 1S LiHV with a 580-680mAh capacity and A30 connector. Batteries are not included. According to the manufacturer, flight time is approximately 5-7 minutes depending on flying style.
