BetaFPV VR04 HD Artlynk

BetaFPV VR04 HD are FPV goggles compatible with the ArtLynk system. ArtLynk is an open digital HD video transmission system for FPV. Thanks to a common standard, flight units, FPV goggles and receiver modules from different manufacturers are mutually compatible. The system includes brands such as BetaFPV, HGLRC, SkyZone or TJRC. ArtLynk transmits video at 1080p at 60fps with latency around 60ms and, compared to analog transmission, offers a significantly clearer and more stable image. It is a cost-effective alternative to DJI and Walksnail for pilots who want HD quality without a closed single-brand ecosystem.

The goggles feature a 4.5" LCD display with 1920×1080 resolution and adjustable brightness. The image is received by two antennas in the 5.725–5.850GHz band. Two modes are available: normal with 3 channels and racing with 16 channels. At the bottom of the image there is an OSD telemetry bar — current channel, drone and goggles battery voltage, data rate, distance and connection status.

Controls are provided by a 5-way joystick (5D) for menu navigation and confirmation, a Back button for returning, a Record button to start and stop recording, and a Bind button for pairing. The goggles record DVR footage in 1080p at 60fps to a microSD card (FAT32, up to 1TB, V30/U3 recommended, not included) and allow playback and deletion of recordings directly in the menu. The USB-C port is used to read the microSD card when connected to a computer, and a separate DC 5.5/2.1mm connector is for external power. The goggles are actively cooled by an automatic fan.

The interior is spacious and the FPV goggles can also be worn with prescription glasses. The PU face padding and soft silicone nose piece block out ambient light. Power is supplied by two 18650 2600mAh batteries inserted into the head strap holder with a runtime of approx. 3 hours, or by an external 2–6S (5.5–26.4V) source via the DC connector. You can also set the transmitter power and bitrate of the flight unit or camera parameters directly in the menu. 

Compared to the VR04 HD Pro version, the antennas are fixed (non-replaceable), the battery is smaller at 2600mAh instead of 3800mAh and they do not support video output to an external display. The display, resolution, 1080p recording and active cooling are the same in both versions.

Protect the goggles optics from direct sunlight, otherwise the display may be burned in. Dimensions are 168.8×182.1×98.5mm, weight 400g (without batteries).
