BetaFPV Pavo20 Pro II O4 Pro is a 2.2" cinewhoop with DJI O4 Air Unit Pro digital video transmission, suitable for cinematic flying indoors and outdoors. Thanks to the ducted propellers, flying it is relatively safe.
The frame has a diagonal motor spacing of 93.9 mm. The protective ducts are mounted with 4 screws with molded threaded inserts, making installation and servicing faster than on the previous generation. Guide points in the casting ensure precise positioning of the 2 mm carbon plate and reduce flex of the entire structure. The O4 Air Unit Pro mount is fixed on rubber soft mounts, which reduce vibration transfer to the image and allow camera tilt in the range of 0-40°. The lens remains accessible for fitting an ND filter.
Compared to the first version, a buzzer has been added for easier locating of the drone after a crash, along with two GPS module mounts with spacings of 22x22 mm and 14x17 mm, covering most common 12x and 18x series modules. GPS module is not included.
Power is provided by LAVA 1104 7200 Kv motors combined with three-blade Gemfan D2.2 propellers in 2.2" size. The motors are connected to the board via JST1.25 connectors, so replacement does not require soldering.
Flight is handled by the F4 2-3S 20A AIO FC V1 AIO board, which combines the flight controller, ESCs, and ELRS receiver. The board uses an STM32F405 processor, ICM42605 gyro, DPS310 barometer for altitude measurement, and 16 MB of Blackbox memory. The ESCs can handle a continuous 20A and use Bluejay firmware. Peripheral power is supplied by a pair of BECs: 9V/2A for the DJI unit and 5V/3A for other connected devices. The drone comes with Betaflight firmware and preset PIDs. The RC link is provided by ExpressLRS. ELRS is an advanced open source RC system with long range, low latency, and high update rate.
Video transmission is handled by the DJI O4 Air Unit Pro with a 1/1.3" sensor and a 155° field of view. It supports recording up to 4K/120 fps to the built-in 4 GB memory or to a microSD card up to 512 GB, so there is no need to carry an external HD camera. DJI O4 Pro supports both RockSteady and Gyroflow stabilization.
The drone includes a NightFire RGB LED strip with a length of 500 mm, WS2812B diodes, and its own control board. It offers 10 lighting modes, 7 colors, and four brightness levels, switched using buttons on the board.
Recommended batteries are 3S with a capacity of 450-680 mAh and an XT30 connector.
Important notice: The DJI O4 camera uses a new generation of gyroscopes that are more sensitive to vibration. This may affect the proper function of RockSteady and Gyroflow stabilization.
