BetaFPV Pavo20 Pro II

BetaFPV Pavo20 Pro II is a replacement frame for the 2.2" Pavo20 Pro II cinewhoop. It consists of a carbon top plate with a thickness of 2 mm, a protective ring (“whoop duct”) made of durable PA12 plastic, and a mount for the DJI O4 Air Unit Pro. The diagonal motor-to-motor distance is 93.9 mm. The frame is suitable for building or repairing a cinewhoop intended for filming and light freestyle near obstacles.

The carbon plate has been newly designed for the DJI O4 Air Unit Pro, O4 Air Unit, and O4 Wide Air Unit digital video transmission systems. The plate is secured to the duct with only 4 screws into press-fit nuts; three guide points and the support structure of the injection-molded plastic keep the plate precisely centered and free from flex, making assembly quick and the frame rigid. The reinforced duct profile increases impact resistance.

The O4 Air Unit Pro camera mount has a reinforced side panel to protect the camera and two mounting points, allowing the camera to be tilted within a range of 0–40° while keeping the ND filter accessible. Video transmitter antennas can be mounted tool-free at a 30° angle. Both the camera and flight controller are mounted on rubber dampers to reduce vibration transfer to the footage. The battery is held by an open strap and a 20 mm-wide side positioning slot, preventing it from shifting in the frame even during aggressive maneuvers.

The flight controller mounts on a 26 x 26 mm pattern, motors on a 4 x M2 pattern with 9 mm spacing, and camera spacing is 20 mm. The frame weighs 35.7 g including the O4 Air Unit Pro mount (duct alone: 17.8 g). Motors, flight controller, propellers, and video transmitter are not included. The manufacturer recommends BetaFPV LAVA 1104 motors and Gemfan D2.2 or 2218 tri-blade propellers.

Important notice: The Pavo20 Pro II frame is not compatible with parts from the previous Pavo20 Pro version. The older version duct does not fit, and due to the slightly different motor spacing, the manufacturer does not recommend combining the new carbon plate with the old duct, as the propellers could contact the duct during flight.
