BetaFPV Pavo Pico II O4 Wide - 2S ELRS

BetaFPV Pavo Pico II O4 Wide is a compact 2S cinewhoop with 45mm propellers and DJI O4 Wide digital video transmission, suitable for smooth indoor filming, flying through tight spaces, and relaxed outdoor flying. Thanks to its ducted propellers and low weight of 59 g without a battery, it is relatively safe to fly at home or near people. The motor-to-motor diagonal is 80 mm.

The Pavo Pico II frame is made from injection-molded plastic and features pressed-in nuts, so the carbon plate with electronics is attached using only four screws. The support structure and three guide points ensure precise plate positioning and high frame rigidity without flex. The camera and video transmitter sit in the O4 Air Unit Bracket II, mounted via four vibration-damping softmounts - these isolate motor vibrations and suppress the jello effect in recordings. The frame allows attaching a LiPo strap or 3D-printed parts for batteries of different dimensions.

The heart of the drone is the BetaFPV F4 2-3S 20A AIO FC V1 AIO board, which integrates the flight controller, ESCs, and ELRS receiver. The flight controller uses an STM32F405 or AT32F435 processor (depending on availability), an ICM42688-P or ICM42605 gyro, a barometer for altitude measurement, and 16 MB of blackbox memory. The board has two BECs - 9 V/2 A for the DJI video transmitter and 5 V/3 A for other peripherals. The dedicated 9 V BEC prevents video dropouts when battery voltage drops during rapid throttle inputs. The video transmitter connects via a 6-pin connector without soldering. The ESCs handle a continuous 20 A and use Bluejay firmware with bidirectional DShot and RPM filtering support. Power is provided by BetaFPV LAVA 1102 14000Kv motors combined with Gemfan 45 mm tri-blade propellers. The motors are connected via connectors, so replacement does not require soldering. PID tuning optimized for DJI O4 units is preinstalled from the factory.

The DJI O4 Wide unit is a wide-angle version of the DJI O4 - instead of a lens with a 117.6° FOV, it has a lens with a 159° FOV, while the sensor and transmission remain the same. The 1/2" sensor enables recording up to 4K/60fps to the built-in 23 GB memory, so there is no need to carry an external HD camera. Video is transmitted in 1080p/100fps quality with latency from 20 ms (Racemode with DJI Goggles 3), and the transmission supports Canvas mode for standard OSD from the flight controller.

The drone is equipped with an integrated ELRS receiver operating at 2.4 GHz. The board also has free UART ports for connecting GPS or an external receiver.

The drone is intended for use with DJI Goggles 3 or DJI Goggles N3. It can also be used with DJI Goggles 2 or DJI Integra, but the minimum transmission latency is then 35 ms.

Recommended batteries are 2S with a capacity of 450-680 mAh and an XT30 connector. The battery fits into a space measuring 16 x 12.7 mm. Batteries are not included.
