BetaFPV Pavo Pico II is a whoop frame with an 80mm diagonal motor-to-motor distance, suitable for building a lightweight brushless whoop with the DJI O4 digital video system. The newly designed 1,5mm thick carbon fiber plate accommodates both the DJI O4 and the larger O4 Air Unit Pro without modifications.
The propeller guard (duct) is injection-molded from PA12/PP as a single piece, providing stiffness at low weight and impact resistance. The plate attaches to the duct using only four screws into press-fit nuts. A support structure with three locating points automatically centers the plate during assembly and prevents it from flexing, making assembly quick and the frame rigid. The camera unit mounts in the O4 Air Unit Bracket II, which is suspended on damping balls to eliminate the “jello” effect — image distortion caused by vibrations.
The flight controller mounts on the standard whoop 25,5x25,5mm pattern, while motors are secured with three M1,4 screws on a 6,6mm pattern. The battery slot measures 16x12,7mm. The frame with the carbon fiber plate weighs 19g. The manufacturer recommends LAVA 1102 14000Kv motors, GemFan 45mm tri-blade propellers, and 2S 450–550mAh batteries. A battery strap or custom 3D-printed parts for other battery sizes can also be attached to the frame.
The DJI O4 Air Unit and O4 Air Unit Pro are not included.
