BetaFPV Meteor65 Pro II is a 1S Tinywhoop with analog video transmission, suitable for freestyle and racing indoors, as well as relaxed flying in the garden or park. Thanks to its ducted propellers and low weight of 22,6g without battery, it is safe to fly at home or near people. The second generation brings a larger frame, more powerful propulsion and longer flight time than the original Meteor65 Pro.
The plastic Meteor65 Pro II frame has an increased diagonal motor-to-motor distance from 66mm to 70mm, making the drone more stable in the air. The frame has fewer reinforcements and rounded propeller ducts, reducing both weight and air resistance, while being reinforced for greater crash resistance. The battery bay is widened to 16,1x6,3mm, allowing larger 480mAh batteries. The camera is protected by a Micro Camera 2022 canopy made of durable flexible plastic with removable decorations.
Flight control is handled by the Matrix 1S 5IN1 II AIO board, combining the flight controller, ESCs, OSD, ELRS receiver and video transmitter. It uses an STM32G473 processor and 16MB blackbox memory. Compared to the previous generation, the board is thicker (1,0mm) and mounted at three points through damping elements that create clearance on impact and protect the electronics. The drone is equipped with an ELRS receiver operating at 2,4GHz, connected to the board via a serial link (CRSF). ExpressLRS is an advanced open-source RC system with long range, low latency and a high refresh rate. The integrated ESCs with Bluejay firmware handle continuous current of 12A and support bidirectional DShot for the RPM filter in Betaflight. Propulsion is provided by BetaFPV Racing 0802 25000Kv motors (2026 version) with a 0,10mm laminated stator for higher efficiency, paired with Gemfan 1409 tri-blade propellers. The thrust-to-weight ratio is 5,17:1, providing 44% more thrust than the original propulsion setup. The motors are connected via connectors, so replacement does not require soldering.
Video is captured by the BetaFPV Air Camera with a 1/4,5" CMOS sensor, 16:9 aspect ratio and wide FOV 173°. Compared to 4:3 format, it provides a one-third wider image, making it easier to see through turns. The glass lens is more scratch-resistant than a plastic one. For correct display, FPV goggles or a monitor must also support the 16:9 aspect ratio. The integrated video transmitter at 5,8GHz has 48 channels and adjustable 25/100/200/400mW output, which can be changed via SmartAudio. For indoor flying, we recommend 25-100mW output, which saves battery power and produces less heat. The drone is equipped with a dipole antenna. Do not power on the video transmitter without an antenna connected.
Recommended batteries are 1S with 480-580mAh capacity and a BT2.0 connector. Batteries are not included.
