BetaFPV ArtLynk Monitor

BetaFPV ArtLynk Monitor is a 4.5" FPV monitor with a built-in receiver for the ArtLynk digital video transmission system. 

Thanks to the shared standard, air units, FPV goggles and receiver modules from different manufacturers are mutually compatible. The system includes brands such as BetaFPV, HGLRC, SkyZone and TJRC. ArtLynk transmits video in 1080p at 60fps with latency of around 60ms and offers a significantly cleaner and more stable image compared to analog transmission. It is an affordable alternative to DJI and Walksnail for pilots who want HD quality without the closed ecosystem of a single brand.

The monitor combines a P1 HD VRX receiver, display and DVR in one unit, so no additional device is needed to display video from the air unit. The 4.5" LCD display has a resolution of 1920x1080 at 60Hz and brightness of 1000 nits, keeping it readable even in direct sunlight. It is suitable as a screen for spectators or spotters, for configuring a drone in the field, or as an alternative to goggles for pilots.

The receiver operates in the 5.3-5.8GHz band and receives video through two antennas with RP-SMA connectors. Two modes are available: normal with 3 channels (5758, 5788 and 5828MHz) and race mode with 16 channels in the 5340-5917MHz range, allowing interference from Wi-Fi networks, for example, to be avoided. Transmission bitrate is up to 25Mbps, with a manufacturer-rated range of over 400m. At the bottom of the image is an OSD telemetry bar — current channel, drone and monitor battery voltage, transmission rate, distance from the air unit, link status, and SD card status in both the monitor and air unit.

The monitor records 1080p DVR footage at 60fps to a microSD card (up to 1TB, U3/V30 class recommended; card not included). The menu allows automatic recording when connected to the air unit, loop recording and individual file length to be set. Recordings can be played back and deleted directly on the monitor, and OSD data from the air unit can optionally be embedded in them. The card can be read via USB-C when connected to a computer. Controls include a five-way joystick (5D), Back button and Record button; pairing with the air unit is started using the Bind menu item. The monitor can also be used to set the transmit power and bitrate of the air unit and its camera parameters (exposure, saturation, sharpness, white balance, image rotation, aspect ratio, 3D DNR). There is a 1/4" tripod thread on the bottom.

The monitor has no built-in battery — it is powered externally via a 5.5x2.1mm DC connector or XT30 within a range of 5.5-26.4V (2-6S LiPo), directly from a flight battery. The built-in buzzer alerts you to low voltage (below 5.5V for 2S, or when a cell drops below 3.5V for 3-6S). Important notice: when using a 2S battery, we recommend monitoring voltage and replacing the battery promptly after the buzzer warning, otherwise the image will turn off. The monitor has no video output (HDMI). Dimensions are 116x84.9x21.2mm, weight 143g (without antennas).
