BAK INR21700-50D2 is a high-performance 21700 Li-ion cell with a capacity of 5000mAh (minimum 4950mAh) and a current rating of up to 60A. Thanks to the combination of high capacity and high discharge current, it is suitable for building power packs for long-range FPV drones and other demanding applications.
The manufacturer specifies a maximum discharge current of 60A with a temperature limit — discharge must be stopped before the cell surface reaches 80°C. The manufacturer declares a lifespan of 600 cycles at continuous 40A discharge, after which the cell retains at least 60% of its nominal capacity. At a 20-40A load, the cell delivers at least 95% of the capacity measured at 10A. Stored energy: 17,82Wh.
Nominal voltage is 3,6V, maximum charging voltage is 4,2V, and the cell should not be discharged below 2,5V. Standard charging current is 2,475A (0,5C), maximum is 15A. Charging is possible at temperatures from 0-45°C and discharging from -20 to 60°C. The cell features a flat positive terminal („flat top“) and no protection circuit („unprotected“), so it must be used in devices or packs with their own overcharge and deep-discharge protection (BMS). Cell weight is no more than 69g.
Before use, read the Li-ion Battery Safe Use Guidelines.
