Axisflying VERTEX5 DC O4 Pro - 6S ELRS with GPS

Axisflying VERTEX 5 is a fully enclosed 5" freestyle drone for 6S LiPo batteries with digital video transmission DJI O4 Pro, suitable for cinematic and freestyle flying. The drone is in a Deadcat configuration, where the front arms are shifted further back and to the sides - so the FPV image and HD recording do not show distracting propeller edges. With this drone, Axisflying introduces a redesigned motor mounting. The motors are modular - they fit into a universal aluminum mount with gold-plated contacts and a spring contact element, so replacement takes approximately 15 seconds and does not require soldering. One motor achieves a maximum thrust of 1929 g at a current of 47.4 A.

The frame is made of coated T700 carbon and complemented by nylon shrouding. The arms are 5 mm thick, the bottom plate 3 mm, and the top and middle plates 2 mm. The metal parts are made of anodized 7075 aluminum alloy. The side panels are held by a quick-release mechanism, so access to the electronics is very easy; simply loosen one screw on the side panel and then swing it out to the side. The battery can be secured either with a standard lipo strap or with the included quick-release battery plate, which keeps the battery in the same position and thus maintains the center of gravity. The drone is also equipped with an LED strip, whose colors are set directly in Betaflight, a fixed XT60 connector, and screws for mounting an action camera.

Flight control is handled by the Axisflying Argus stack. The H743 Mini flight controller uses an STM32H743 processor, ICM-42688-P gyro, DPS368 barometer for altitude measurement, and 16 MB of Blackbox memory. There are 6 UARTs and a pair of BECs with outputs of 12 V/2 A and 5 V/2.5 A. The Argus Mini V2 ESCs handle a continuous current of 60 A, use AM32 firmware with the DShot300/600 protocol, and support telemetry. Propulsion is provided by Axisflying AF2406-X 2080Kv motors in combination with HQProp P4 propellers and a 6S battery. The drone is equipped with an ELRS receiver on 2.4 GHz and a GPS module, which enables automatic return to the takeoff point and displays speed, distance, and direction to the takeoff point in the OSD.

Digital video transmission is provided by DJI O4 Pro, which allows recording in up to 4K directly to the unit, so there is no need to carry an external HD camera. Image stabilization is possible during flight using DJI RockSteady or later in post-processing using Gyroflow. For racing pilots, Racemode with low latency is available. The transmission supports Canvas mode for the classic OSD from the flight controller. 

The DJI O4 Pro unit is intended for use with DJI Goggles 3 or DJI Goggles N3 and DJI Controller 3. It can also be used with DJI Goggles 2 or DJI Integra and DJI Controller 2, but in that case Racemode is not available and the maximum bitrate is limited to 50 Mbps.

Recommended batteries are 6S with a capacity of 1050-1550 mAh and an XT60 connector. Batteries are not included.

Important notice: The DJI O4 camera uses a new generation of gyroscopes that are more sensitive to vibrations. This may affect the proper functionality of RockSteady and Gyroflow stabilization.
