Axisflying VERTEX5 DC O4 Wide - 6S ELRS with GPS

Axisflying VERTEX 5 is a fully covered 5" freestyle drone for 6S LiPo batteries with digital video transmission DJI O4 Wide, suitable for cinematic and freestyle flying. The drone comes in a Deadcat configuration (Squished X on the box), where the front arms are shifted further back and outward - so no distracting propeller edges are visible in the FPV image or HD recording. With this drone, Axisflying introduces a redesigned motor mount. The motors are modular - they fit into a universal aluminum base with gold-plated contacts and a spring contact element, so replacement takes about 15 seconds and requires no soldering. One motor reaches a maximum thrust of 1929 g at a current of 47,4 A.

The frame is made of carbon T700 with a surface finish and supplemented with nylon cladding. The arms have a thickness of 5 mm, the bottom plate 3 mm, the top and middle plates 2 mm. The metal parts are made of anodized 7075 aluminum alloy. The side panels are held by a quick-release mechanism, so access to the electronics is very easy, you only need to loosen one screw on the side panel and then swing it out to the side. The battery is secured either with a standard lipo strap or the included quick-release battery plate, which ensures the battery stays in the same position and thus the center of gravity. The drone is also equipped with an LED strip, whose colors are set directly in Betaflight, a fixed-mounted XT60 connector, and screws for mounting an action camera.

Flight control is handled by the Axisflying Argus stack. The H743 Mini flight controller uses an STM32H743 processor, ICM-42688-P gyro, DPS368 barometer for altitude measurement, and 16 MB of memory for Blackbox. There are 6 UARTs and a pair of BEC with outputs 12 V/2 A and 5 V/2,5 A. The Argus Mini V2 ESCs handle a continuous current of 60 A, use AM32 firmware with DShot300/600 protocol, and support telemetry. Propulsion is provided by Axisflying AF2406-X 2080Kv motors in combination with HQProp P4 propellers and a 6S battery. The drone is equipped with an ELRS receiver at 2,4 GHz and a GPS module, which enables automatic return to the takeoff point and displays speed, distance, and direction to the takeoff point in the OSD.

Video transmission is handled by DJI O4 Wide with a 1/2" sensor and a wide-angle lens with 159° FOV. The unit can record up to 4K to the built-in 23GB memory, so there is no need to carry an external HD camera; this version does not have a microSD card slot. Image stabilization is possible during flight using DJI RockSteady or later in post-processing using Gyroflow. 

The DJI O4 Wide unit is intended for use with DJI Goggles 3 or DJI Goggles N3 and DJI Controller 3. It can also be used with DJI Goggles 2 or DJI Integra and DJI Controller 2, however in that case Racemode is not available and the maximum bitrate is limited to 50 Mbps.

Recommended batteries are 6S with a capacity of 1050-1550 mAh and an XT60 connector. Batteries are not included.

Important notice: The DJI O4 camera uses a new generation of gyroscopes that are more sensitive to vibrations. This may affect the proper functioning of RockSteady and Gyroflow stabilization.
