AtomRC Dolphin Kit

AtomRC Dolphin is a flying wing with a wingspan of 845 mm. The wing is made from EPP material reinforced with carbon. EPP material is very durable and can be easily repaired if damaged. The Dolphin is designed for use with an FPV camera and optionally a flight controller.

The wings slide onto a carbon spar and are secured with a screw in the middle. They are easily detachable, which greatly facilitates transport. The leading edges of the wings are protected by a plastic cover for increased durability. The front part for the FPV camera is also detachable. After removal, a GoPro or another action camera can be inserted into the front section. There is a large space for the battery covered with black EPP at the front. The recommended battery is 4S weighing approximately 300 g. For maximum flight time, a 4S1P 21700 Li-ion can be used. Under the rear black EPP cover, there is a large space for the flight controller, video transmitter, RC receiver, and other electronics. On the bottom side, there are landing protectors for easy landings. The Dolphin features ventilation holes for active cooling of all electronics. The controllable elevons on the wings are complemented by non-controllable V-Tail stabilizers. The elevons are reinforced with carbon reinforcements.

The AtomRC Dolphin is offered as a KIT - meaning it is only an EPP airframe without motors, servos, and other electronics. The recommended setup is a 2306/2207 1800 kV motor, 30 A ESC, 7" propeller, and two nine-gram servos. It is also necessary to add an RC receiver and possibly FPV equipment and a flight controller with a GPS module.
