The HGLRC Soter is a beeper with its own battery, which provides an acoustic alarm even if the drive battery is disconnected from your machine. When the battery is disconnected, if you do not deactivate the beep by pressing the button, a loud alarm will sound. The battery is charged from the 5V output on the control unit and is thus completely maintenance-free.
The battery charge status is indicated by an LED. If the red LED flashes, the battery is charging. If it is off, the battery is fully charged. The beeper can also be controlled in the classic way using BetaFlight. After connecting the two pads on the back, another beeper function can be activated. The alarm is activated if the beeper is powered for more than 30 minutes.
