The Diatone Roma L5 belongs to the group of ultralight 5" frames. Compared to classic racing or freestyle copters, ultralights are significantly quieter and have a longer flight time. Ultralights are thus especially suitable for recreational pilots and a quiet flight through the countryside, during which you enjoy a bird's-eye view.
The Roma L5 has a well-protected camera cage made of 7075 aluminum alloy. The frame weighs 67 grams, which is acceptable for an ultra-light frame. The frame accommodates stacks with 20x20mm M2 mounting holes and AIO boards with 25.5x25.5mm M2 holes. In the back of the frame there is a place for an analog or digital video transmitter. The frame is in a deadcat shape, where the front arms are placed more in width. The FPV camera has a better view and the propeller does not interfere with the FPV image. The arms are 4mm thick carbon and have holes not only for smaller motors (12mm M2) but also for larger motors used on freestyle or racing 5" (16mm M3). However, we recommend using 2004 and similar motors.
