ToolkitRC M6D 2x 250W

ToolkitRC M6D is a compact dual-channel charger without an integrated power supply for 1-6S LiPo, LiHV, LiFe and Li-ion batteries, 1-16S NiMH and 1-10S lead-acid batteries. Both channels operate independently (asynchronous mode), allowing two batteries with different cell counts, capacities and chemistries to be charged simultaneously, each at up to 250W and 0.1-15A. In synchronous mode, both channels combine into a single output with up to 500W and 25A, ideal for fast charging large 6S batteries or batteries used for field charging. It measures just 98x68x35mm and weighs 220g, so it fits in a backpack pocket.

The charger does not have an integrated power supply and is powered via XT60 with 7-28V DC (max. 30A) from an external power supply or a larger battery, such as a 6S LiPo or car battery. The input voltage can be lower than the voltage of the battery being charged, as the charger boosts it. When powered from a battery, it supports regenerative discharge („recycle“) at up to 250W (15A) per channel, returning energy from the discharged battery to the input battery, which is faster and more efficient than dissipating it as heat. With a mains power supply, only internal discharge at 12W (3A) per channel is available. For lithium packs, each channel has a balancer with up to 800mA current and accuracy below 5mV, supports setting the cell end voltage (TVC) and „storage“ mode, and measures cell internal resistance in the 1-100mΩ range.

The status of both channels, including voltage and internal resistance of individual cells, current, charged capacity and time, is shown on a colour 2.4" IPS display with 320x240px resolution, clearly readable even in sunlight. It is controlled with a rotary wheel and two buttons. Each channel has an XT60 output and balance connector, while the front panel also includes a port for an external temperature sensor (sensor not included). The charger also works as a regulated power supply with adjustable voltage of 1-28V and current of 0.5-15A, and includes a mode for drone smart batteries („smart battery“). The USB port on the rear provides 5V/2.1A for charging a phone or camera and is used for firmware updates: the charger connects to a computer as a USB drive, where the new firmware file is copied. Protection functions monitor internal and external temperature, charging time and capacity, while the fan activates according to temperature. After charging is complete, it can automatically continue with the same settings for the next connected battery („continuous work“).
