RadioMaster ERS-CU01 is a compact current and voltage sensor designed for ExpressLRS receivers. The sensor is primarily intended for PWM ELRS receivers used in models of aircraft without a flight controller. The sensor connects via UART interface and communicates using the CRSF protocol. It is compatible with Radiomaster receivers ER6, ER8, ER8G, and ER8GV as well as other ELRS receivers that have an available UART. The sensor has UART input and output, allowing multiple sensors to be daisy-chained.
Sensor ERS-CU01 connects directly to the power line between the battery and the regulator, where it measures both the operating current and the battery voltage. The sensor allows for current measurements in the range of 1–150 A with a continuous current of up to 100A and a maximum voltage of up to 70V. The accuracy of current measurement is ±0.5 A and voltage ±0.1 V.
To configure the sensor and to display telemetry accurately on a transmitter with EdgeTX firmware, a LUA script RadioMaster Sensor Configurator is available, which allows parameter settings and data logging for later analysis.
