iFlight Borg 5S RX + Borg 60RS is a stack designed primarily for high-performance racing and freestyle drones powered by 4–8S LiPo batteries.
The iFlight Borg 5S flight controller features an integrated 2.4GHz UART ELRS receiver. It uses a built-in ceramic antenna to maintain compact size, but also offers an IPEX1 connector for attaching an external antenna if extended range is needed. The controller is based on an AT32F435RGT7 processor and an ICM42688 gyro. Additional features include a 5V BEC, a switchable 12V BEC for powering video transmitters, an OSD chip for analog video, and 16MB of blackbox memory.
The iFlight Borg 60RS ESC handles currents up to 60A and runs the powerful BlHeli_32 firmware. A key feature is the integrated antispark filter, which prevents sparking when connecting the battery. The ESC uses polymer capacitors, eliminating the need for an external electrolytic capacitor, resulting in a smaller and lighter build.
The ESC and flight controller are connected via an FPC ribbon cable. Solder pads are also available if needed.
