ROC7 is a frame for building a 7.5" long-range drone with analog and digital video transmission including DJI O4 Pro. The frame is in a deadcat configuration, where the front arms are shifted more to the sides, so the propeller edges are not visible in the FPV camera image. The camera is mounted in aluminum side plates that protect it. Thanks to mounting via rubber pads, the amount of vibrations transmitted to the FPV camera is reduced. Above the camera is a 3D printed mount for a GoPro action camera. The mount has space for placing a GPS module sized 18.5×18.5 mm. The DJI O4 Pro transmitter can be placed at the front of the drone right behind the camera. The USB connector and SD card slot are easily accessible.
The frame is made of durable T700 carbon. The top plate is split for easy access to the electronics in case of service. The drone is equipped with 3D printed side panels that protect the electronics from dirt while allowing airflow for good cooling. In the middle section of the drone, there is space for mounting a stack with mounting holes 20×20 mm and 30.5×30.5 mm. The USB-C connector can be routed to the rear of the frame for easy access. The XT60 connector is firmly attached to the top plate. At the rear, there is space for mounting an analog video transmitter.
