BETAFPV Matrix G4 5in1 is an AIO board intended for 1S TinyWhoops and other small FPV drones. The board includes a flight controller, ESCs, RC receiver, analog video transmitter, and OSD chip. It is mounted on a 1mm thick PCB for good durability. The board is equipped with connectors for easy motor connections, making it suitable primarily for beginner and recreational pilots.
The flight controller features a STM32G473 processor and a BMI270 gyroscope. There is also 16MB memory for blackbox logging. The integrated 4in1 ESCs can handle a current of 5A and run on Bluejay firmware.
The built-in 5.8GHz video transmitter allows for analog video transmission with power levels of 25/100/200/400 mW. With support for SmartAudio protocol, the transmitter can be easily configured through Betaflight. For indoor flying, it is recommended to use 25–100 mW to reduce heat and battery consumption. The antenna connects via a u.FL connector. RC transmission is handled by the integrated ELRS 2.4GHz receiver connected via UART. The UART connection is available on the board, and if needed, the integrated receiver can be disconnected and an external one connected. The internal ELRS receiver uses a wired antenna powered directly on the board.
